More DirectTV blasphemy, except this time, it is Kathy Bates cashing in on her most famous (and, in her case, Oscar winning) role. The commercial in question shows Bates as Annie Wilkes, the "cockadoodie"-spouting nutjob of Misery, in that thriller's most notorious scene.I guess we can be thankful that it at least wasn't Bates' most notorious scene from another of her movies: the nude hot tube moment from About Schmidt ... imagine that in high def ...
