MD Poll: 'American' High

I'm gone for a week, and everyone disappears! Despite a two-week running time, the last MD Poll only netted 27 votes.

No matter. As the most anticipated November movie, voters picked the star power of Russell and Denzel in American Gangster (now in theaters) over singing fairy tale princesses and animated mythical muscle men. The Ridley Scott picture earned 6 votes (22% of the vote) to top the list, but Enchanted (5 votes/18%) and Beowulf (4/14%) were nipping at its heels. Sidney Lumet's dysfunctional family drama Before the Devil Knows You're Dead and Todd Haynes' loopy Bob Dylan bio I'm Not There round out the top 5, with 3 votes (11%) each.

For the full results, see the comments section below, and be sure to "tune" back in later for this week's musical-themed poll.
