The video wizards over at Miraulam have done it again. Taking images from 80 years of screen goddesses, they have digitally morphed them into their own salute to "Women in Film".
From Mary Pickford to Gwyneth Paltrow, the actresses' faces and features blend seamlessly into each other as chamber music plays calmly in the background. You will be amazed as Garland turns to Baxter turns to Bacall, or how Diane Keaton's mouth transforms into Goldie Hawn's. I was particularly surprised by how much Barbara Stanwyck and Vivien Leigh and then Julianne Moore and Diane Lane look alike, resemblances I never noticed before.
The site previously produced a similar video, "Women in Art". One hopes they next turn their talents to the kings of Hollywood.
UPDATE: A slightly-revised version of the video, including women of color such as Angela Bassett, Salma Hayek and Halle Berry, is now available on YouTube. Also: Cinematical has a brief interview with Philip Scott Johnson, the creator of the video.
