The Costume Designers Guild has deemed the fantastic frocks of The Golden Compass, the grungy garb of Sweeney Todd and the outrageous outfits of Blades of Glory the best dressed of 2007 in their respective categories at their kudofest this year.Only Colleen Atwood's Sweeney styles are up for the Academy Award this Sunday, so this may translate to another Oscar win for her (she has previously won for Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha).
Elsewhere, our favorites, Ugly Betty and Pushing Daisies, won in the television races.
