The Color Purple, the Tony Award-winning stage musical based on the Alice Walker book and Steven Spielberg film, closes tonight on Broadway.Still no further news on the Oprah Winfrey produced movie version of the musical though. In the meantime, here is the big "O" introducing the show's performance on the 2006 Tony Awards show.
