Proof positive that they don't make them like they used to -- they couldn't afford it now with an all-star cast like this one: Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Sean Conner, John Gielgud, Wendy Hiller, Anthony Perkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Widmark and Michael York; they are all suspects in the title crime, under investigation by an Oscar nominated Albert Finney as Agatha Christie's eccentric Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot.Directed by Sidney Lumet, the film received six Academy Award nominations, with Bergman winning in a surprise Supporting Actress victory, her third and final Oscar.
