Bette Davis' 100th birthday this Saturday, both Warner and Fox are releasing new DVD box sets this week and next:
- Available today, Warner's The Bette Davis Collection, Volume 3
includes six new to DVD classics starring the screen legend: All This, and Heaven Too (an excellent tear-jerker, co-starring Charles Boyer), Deception, The Great Lie (also featuring an Oscar winning Mary Astor), In This Our Life, The Old Maid and Watch on the Rhine (starring an Oscar winning Paul Lukas). - Next week brings Fox's Bette Davis Centenary Celebration Collection,which features her immortal Margo Channing in All About Eve, as well as her title characters in Hush ... Hush, Sweet Charlotte, The Nanny and The Virgin Queen, plus Phone Call from a Stranger.
