During the filming of his 1956 epic remake of his own The Ten Commandments, legendary director Cecil B. DeMille wasn't sure who should fill a small but important role: the Voice of God. His Moses, then-rising star Charlton Heston, brimming with the bravado he would later be famous for, offered up his talents.
DeMille's reply: "Well, you know, Chuck, you've got a pretty good part as it is."
