Yet another Jake Gyllenhaal movie is making its way to the stage: Donnie Darko. But fear not, there is no singing and dancing guys in stupid bunny suits; this is a play.Per Playbill.com, Blake Bashoff (of Spring Awakening and Lost fame) will don the hoodie of Donnie for a staged reading of the new work tonight at Massachusetts' American Repertory Theatre, where it was previously presented last fall.
No future plans for the show, such as a New York run, have been announced at this time.
