Oregon State Hospital, the actual "cuckoo's nest" that was the primary filming location for the Oscar winning movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, will soon be demolished to make way for a new facility.The mental institution had fallen into disrepair over the years, but the final straw that spurned legislators to make some changes was when the cremated remains of 3,600 mental patients in corroding copper canisters were found in a storage room. Yikes.
