Josh Hartnett makes his West End debut tonight as Charlie Babbitt with the official opening of the stage version of the Academy Award winning Best Picture Rain Man. Joining him as his autistic savant brother Raymond is Olivier Award nominated British actor Adam Godley.Hartnett and Godley play the roles originated by Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in the film version (with the latter taking home the Best Actor Oscar for his performance). Playwright Dan Gordon (whose other screen-to-stage credits include Terms of Endearment and Murder in the First) has adapted the movie's Oscar winning script, resetting it in the present day.
