What better way to start 2009 out right than to celebrate 2008 - The Year in Film all month long with January's Movie Dearest calendar wallpaper.
Twenty-eight of the best and brightest of this past year are represented — see how many you can name in the comments section below. And for more fun, identify the three stars who show up in the collage twice. Plus, bonus points for whoever names the guy who kinda appears twice.
Just click on the picture above to enlarge it to its 1024 x 768 size, then right click your mouse and select "Set as Background", and you're all set. If you want, you can also save it to your computer and set it up from there, or modify the size in your own photo-editing program if needed.

The three double appearances are Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep and Robert Downey Jr.
I think I got all but one of these. The man on the can has me stumped. Here goes. Milk, Doubt, Iron Man, Quantum of Solace (if not Defiance), The Cuious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Rachel Getting Married, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Burn After Reading, Tropic Thunder, Happy-Go-Lucky, Twilight, The Visitor, The Reader, The Dark Knight, Australia, Sex and the City, The Changeling, Revolutionary Road, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Wall-e, Hamlet 2, High School Musical 3, Mamma Mia!, Slumdog Millionaire, The Wrestler and Kung Fu Panda. *whew* that was fun! Thanks and Happy New Year!
Glad to hear you had fun!
The "man on the can" is a movie with a very short title.
You got all the movies and the three stars right, but who's the "guy who kind of appears twice"?
:)

Oh, and the Daniel Craig shot is from "Quantum of Solace". Don't think he shows off his pecs in "Defiance" ... ;)

This might be a stretch for "the guy who kind of appears twice", but Steve Coogan is sexy Jesus in Hamlet 2, and he plays the director in that scene from Tropic Thunder? Still can't get #28 .....
No, not Coogan, it's a little more obvious than that. Think "heard but not seen".

How about Jack Black in Kung Fu Panda and Tropic Thunder? Still working on #28....
I finally figured out the cowboy boots, is #28 W. ?
You got 'em both! Congrats!!!
