This section will serve as a place for me to recommend movies and DVDs that are my favorites and/or of special interest, ranging from the latest hits in theaters to undiscovered gems on DVD.Not exactly full-fledged reviews (there are plenty of sites out there for that), these "mini-reviews" should nevertheless provide you with ideas for, say, date night at the movies, or help you decide what to add to the ever-more-important Netflix queue.
