Ed Wood is generally considered the worst director of all-time, but he wasn't that great a screenwriter either, as exemplified by the following exchange from his cult classic, Plan 9 from Outer Space:Colonel Edwards: Why is it so important that you want to contact the governments of our Earth?
Alien Commander Eros (pictured): Because of death. Because all of you of Earth are idiots!
Pilot Jeff Trent: Now, you just hold on, buster!

Eros: Your scientists stumbled upon the atom bomb - split the atom! Then the hydrogen bomb, where you actually explode the air itself. Now you bring the total destruction of the entire universe, served by our sun. The only explosion left is the solaronite.
Trent: So what if we do develop this solaronite bomb - we'd be even a stronger nation than now!
Eros: Stronger! You see! You see! Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!
Trent: That's all I'm taking from you! [He punches Eros.]
