Memo from Movie Dearest: New Gizmo

Christmas is more then a month away, but Movie Dearest is getting a lot of new toys early this year.

The latest is a new fangled thingamabob courtesy of Widgetbox called a "blidget", which is just like it sounds: a "blog widget". Basically, it lets you access the most recent posts on a particular blog (in this case, MD). You can find it in the sidebar underneath the blog archives, where it will grant you quick access to all the latest posts from yours truly.

Best thing about it is that this is a toy I can share. Yep, if you have your own blog or MySpace page or whatever, you can embed this "blidget" on your site by clicking here, or by simply clicking on the "Get blidget" button. And if you want to customize it, simply click on the little wrench icon. For example, you can change the color or even have it show the pictures from each post (just click on the "Show images in post" box; for a preview of how that looks, see my BroadwaySpace page). And by the by, you can also do all this with the latest MD Poll by clicking on that widget where it says "Copy poll".

Now if only Santa will bring me a boyfriend ...
