After 12 years and over 5,000 performances, the seminal Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning rock musical Rent will play its final Broadway performance tonight to a sold-out audience of Rent-heads young and old.Members of the cast, past and present (including many of the legendary original players), will be on hand for the special event, portions of which will be filmed for the upcoming limited engagement movie theater release, Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway (watch the trailer here).
