Women We Love: Bonnie Hunt

Object of our affection: Bonnie Hunt, actress/writer/ director/producer.

- She's been one of our favorite funny ladies for years, and now she's getting her own talk show! Our pal Deep Dish has all the dish, as in two preview clips for the show, which starts this Monday.

- Other television projects include the sitcoms Grand, Davis Rules, The Building, The Bonnie Hunt Show (a.k.a. Bonnie) and Life With Bonnie. She received one Emmy nomination and two Golden Globe nominations for the latter.

- She made her film debut in Rain Man, and has also starred in Beethoven and its sequel, Only You, Jumanji, Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile and Cheaper by the Dozen and its sequel. A Pixar favorite, she has also provided voices for A Bug's Life; Monsters, Inc. and Cars; she also helped with the script on the latter, and is expected to return for its sequel as well.

- In 2000, she made her directorial and screenwriting debut with the romantic dramedy Return to Me.

- She has also made a name for herself as a quick-witted guest of David Letterman and Tom Snyder on their late night talk shows.
